Ecopipo Prefold reusable nappies are a must-have nappy for your stash. Itâs one of the most simple and versatile styles, offering you a fuss-free fit at a purse-friendly price.Â
What is a Prefold Nappy?Â
A Prefold Nappy is a very simple traditional-style cloth nappy, offering a soft, comfortable fit for your baby.
- 100% Natural: Made from unbleached bamboo and organic cotton, nothing else!
- Ergonomic and versatile: They are so flexible they will adapt to most babies’ shapes
- Economical: You will just need a few Prefolds and a wrap and you will have nappies for a full day!
- Fast-drying: Fantastic if you have limited drying facilities.
- Practical: No safety pins needed! Super quick, simple and safe!
Ecopipo Prefold reusable nappies are made of:
- A luxuriously soft layer of cotton velour on one side,
- A layer of soft, thirsty bamboo on the other side,
- An additional absorbent bamboo layer at the core,
- Then some colourful trims to keep it all together.
And they come in two sizes:
Small | Large |
15â (39cm) x 15â (39cm) | 17″ (49 cm) x 15″ (39 cm) |
8 – 15lb (3.6 – 6.8kg) | 15 – 35 lbs (6.8 – 16 kg) |
This is a great nappy for the early days, it can then convert into an insert for a Pocket nappy, or an absorbent for our AI2 Ecobebé nappy. | This is a great nappy to have, especially in an emergency, it can be simply folded and use with any wrap you have. |
Note: These nappies are not waterproof and must be covered with a newborn nappy wrap (from birth to 15 lbs) or a one size nappy wrap (from 15 to 35 lbs).
Â
How to use an Ecopipo prefold nappy
Using a Prefold nappy is very easy, there are a number of âstylesâ so you can try a few to see whatâs right for your baby. Hereâs a handy video showing some useful fold styles;
Or just use our infographic as a guide;
- Always have a prefold handy since, in an emergency, a prefold used in the pad fold style can be used with any wrap!Â
- For any fold but the pad fold, you need a nappi nippa to secure it.Â
In addition, these nappies have all their stitches guaranteed, please check the full Terms & Conditions.
Washing and caring for your Ecopipo Prefold nappy couldn’t be simpler;
- Store your nappies in a dry pile till laundry day (be sure to remove all poo first).
- On laundry day rinse all your nappies in cold water.
- Then wash at 40 degrees if they are wet and 60 degrees, if they are soiled.

Ecopipo Newborn Reusable Pocket Nappies, they are as cute as your new baby!

Image by Petra A MUM REVIEWS @AmumreviewsÂ
Ecopipo newborn reusable pocket nappies are perfect for the early days when your baby is tiny. These nappies fit babies from 6 to 13 lbs (2.8 to 6kg).
Newborn nappies are not for everyone as you need to buy one size nappies, also known as birth to potty nappies after 4 or 5 months, and this might represent an extra expense for you, howeverâŠ.
These are some reasons you should have them in your stash:
- They are very useful if you have a determination to use cloth nappies since the beginning, as they are easier to fit them in tiny babies.
- They are the ideal choice for premature babies as it takes them longer to reach the weight for a one size nappy.
- They will be used less than the one-size nappies, and if you want to resale them, they will hold their price better than a more used and tired nappy.

How to adjust the size of an EcopipoÂź pocket cloth nappy
- As your baby grows the 4 poppers on the rise help you to get a better fit, especially in between sizes. This is a guide to illustrate the most appropriate fitting, but this may vary depending on the length of your baby and the width of her legs.
Hereâs a how the nappy should look when fitted properly:
Watch this simple guide from our parent company, showing you how easy it is to fit the âEcopipoÂźPocketâ nappy, according to her weight:
A common mistake which can lead to leaks, is when the nappy is not set tightly enough around the knicker line, at the inner leg. The elastic needs to be placed tightly to the skin. See below image of how NOT to fit the âEcopipoÂźPocketâ nappy;

Washing and caring for your EcopipoÂź pocket nappies
We recommend you wash your EcopipoÂźpocket nappies, inserts and covers before you use them, a 40ÂșC wash will be enough.
They develop the maximum absorbency after 5 washes, but they are very absorbent since the beginning.
Then wash inserts and covers at 40ÂșC for every wet nappy, or at 60ÂșC for every soiled nappy.
To prolong the life of your EcopipoÂź pocket nappy and to get the best of it please follow these four simple washing rules;
- DONâT use bleach
- DONâT use fabric conditioner
- Only tumble dry the cover if really necessary and at a very low heat and for a short period of time.
- Tumble dry the inserts and boosters at a low temperature only
The use of bleach and the excess of heat for drying them invalidates your EcopipoÂź guarantee.
Because of their fantastic absorbency, the inserts for the âEcopipoÂźPocketâ nappy can take a little longer to dry during winter. We recommend buying some extra inserts if you have no tumble dryer.
Did you know that direct sunlight will naturally âbleachâ poo stains from your nappies?
You will need to use a new nappy at every change, but they can be quickly stuffed and stored after every clean, ready to be used as needed.
Remember most parts of your âEcopipoÂźPocketâ nappy is covered in our two-year guarantee.

Although is not our main recommendation, the new G3 EcopipoÂź One size reusable nappies have been used successfully in babies that weight only 6lbs 13 oz (3.1 kg) o less.

Hereâs how the nappy should look when fitted properly:
For an excellent fitting use the most convenient insert as follow
This is a bamboo terry booster; it is very absorbent but super slim.
It adds absorbency but adds no bulk at all! It does not come as standard with your nappy but you can buy them here.
The insert on the top is made of microfiber, it is an excellent insert for the early days as it dries in no time, so you can have a constant supply of nappies.
As your baby increases the amount of pee, you can add the terry booster to the microfiber.
This is a combination that works very well for babies under 4 months of age.
After 4 months of age, you need to use the two-fold organic cotton & bamboo booster and you can combine it in different ways with the microfibre insert and the terry bamboo booster, depending on the time you want to leave the nappy on.
For instance, when the nappy is stuffed with the two inserts and the booster is a good enough nappy to sleep your baby for 12 hours without a nappy change during the night.
A common mistake which can lead to leaks, is when the nappy is not set tightly enough around the knicker line, at the inner leg. The elastic needs to be placed tightly to the skin.

A final note
We are confident you will like the G3 EcopipoÂź One size reusable nappies as before we introduce them to the UK, we asked more than 20 mums to trial these nappies for us.
All those mums have one thing in common, they all loved their V2 EcopipoÂź One size reusable nappies, then we ask them anonymously what they thought of the new G3 and this is what they say to us:
Over 60% of the mums told us they could see clear improvements from their loved V2 nappies.
When we asked them, what were their favourite features, they say in the first place the versatility to tailor the amount of absorbency needed.
Then in equal proportions, they told us they found the nappy more anatomic and easier to fit and also they could see that the nappies were slimmer, which is was a bonus for them!
When we introduce a new product we are aware that not everyone is going to like it, as some products suit some babies and mums better than other, so for us surprise to hear that 90% of the testers said that they would recommend the new G3 EcopipoÂź One size reusable pocket nappy to other mothers was, certainly, a very pleasant surprise for us.
We also asked them why they have liked the nappy and here are some of the answers we got:
âIts slim fitting and absorbency can be adjusted more easilyâ;
âI find the fit very goodâ;
âItâs trim and absorbentâ;
âI really like this nappy because it fits perfect to my baby and dries fasterâ;
âI really like this nappy, because it is really absorbent and very slim fitting compared to other cloth nappiesâ;
âThey are cheap compared to other brands and their boosters are made of bambooâ
When we asked them to give us their final rate for the new G3 nappy, this was their rating:
5 Starts = 30%
4 Starts = 60%
3 Starts = 10%
We think this was not bad at all!

The EcobebéŸ One size All in Two (AI2) cloth nappy
Ecopipo wants to encourage more parents to give cloth nappies a try. So, by keeping things simple, reliable and affordable, EcopipoŸ designed the EcobebéŸ AI2 cloth nappy.
What is an A12 nappy?
AI2 stands for âAll in twoâ, which means you get a gorgeous outer shell, and a replaceable inner pad, as opposed to an âAll in oneâ nappy which combines both.
The benefits of having an âAll in twoâ nappy are:
- You can customise the nappy’s inner pad as your baby grows or his eating patterns change
- Theyâll dry much faster than traditional âall-in-onesâ
- Youâll have less laundry to do as the outer shell doesnât need to be replaced at each nappy change
- Each EcobebéŸ nappy has a 1-year guarantee.
From Birth to Potty
EcobebéŸ will be with you every step of the way. You can use EcobebéŸ AI2 nappies on tiny babies from 7 ls 7 oz (3.5kg), all the way up to 33lb (15kg) babies and toddlers.
A secure, comfortable and slim fit
Many AI2 nappies have a detachable âsnap-inâ pad, however, EcobebéŸ nappies have an outer shell with flaps at the front and back, to keep it in place, without the âsnapâ causing your baby any discomfort.
As with other AI2 nappies, the pad can be changed as normal but without the need to replace the outer shell, so it can be used for more than one nappy change. Simply remove the wet or dirty inner pad and replace it with a clean one. No fiddling with poppers or snaps, just pull it out and replace!
EcobebéŸ arenât bulky and will fit comfortably inside your babyâs clothes. The combination of a slim fit with a highly absorbent nappy makes it the perfect cloth nappy for you and your baby.
And if you still arenât sure you could always try it out first with our love or return scheme!
How does the âEcobebéŸ AI2â nappy work?
The clever design of the EcobebéŸ nappy means no leaks and no discomfort. The super-soft elastic at the back and upper legs create a seal, and for added protection, the double gusset ensures that everything stays inside the nappy.
Our customers asked for poppers, so we delivered! All EcobebéŸ nappies are made with a popper closure at the waist. Prefer âhook and loopâ? Try our gorgeous EcopipoÂź Pocket nappy which has one of the strongest and most durable hooks and loop Velcro closure systems on the market, with an extended guarantee of 2 years.

- Shell Lining: A soft inner layer with a unique double gusset designed to minimise leaks. Soft flaps at the top and bottom allow you to place a clean insert at every nappy change, just pull it out and insert a new one.
- Inner Absorbent Core Insert: Each EcobebéŸ nappy comes with a long absorbent insert (pictured below), which is made up of a microfibre inner core and covered with velour cotton on one side and microfleece on the other. When the insert pad is folded in two it creates an absorption capacity of five layers, which can last up to four hours in most babies.
With the EcobebéŸ reversible insert, you can choose which fabric comes into contact with your babiesâ skin.
- Insert Liner side one: A super absorbent microfleece, to keep your little oneâs skin dry

Washing and caring for your EcobebéŸ AI2 nappy
We recommend you wash the insert pad and the cover before you use them, a 40ÂșC wash will be enough.
Then wash pads and covers at 40ÂșC for every wet nappy, or at 60ÂșC for every soiled nappy.

The entire nappy is made from high-quality, non-bleached bamboo and organic cotton. So, your babyâs delicate skin will be in close contact with a naturally hypoallergenic, chemical-free fabric, for up to twelve hours. Giving your baby a comfortable nightsâ sleep and giving you total peace of mind.
How does the âEcopipo night nappy work?
The luxuriously soft fabrics used in each Ecopipo Night nappy gives you high absorbency and no skin irritation. The super-soft elastic at the back and upper legs create a seal and the double gusset gives additional protection, ensuring everything stays inside the nappy for hours.
Each Ecopipo One-Size reusable Night Nappy is made up of:
- Outer Shell: made of super-absorbent bamboo fleece
- Inner Layer: made of very soft and absorbent bamboo velour.
- A Long Insert: made of bamboo fleece. The Insert should be placed either inside the two layers using the opening at the back (also known as the âpocketâ) or between the nappy and the wrap.
- Both, bamboo fleece and bamboo velour fabrics are made of 70% unbleached bamboo and 30% organic cotton
- Closure: All Ecopipo Night Nappies have a durable hook and loop closure system to ensure a tight, comfortable fit.
Please note the Night Nappy DOES NOT come with a waterproof layer, you will need to have an Ecopipo wrap or any other brand of nappy wrap or a wool cover.

How to adjust the size of an Ecopipo Night Nappy
- EcopipoÂź Night Nappies fit most babies from 8 lbs 8 oz (4 kg) up to 35 lbs (16 kg).
- Most heavy-wetters need an absorbent Night Nappy from around 6 months onwards, approx 16 lbs (7 kg).
- If you think you need the Night Nappy on a smaller baby, we recommend you just use the nappy without the extra insert to begin with.
This is a guide and may vary depending on the length of your baby and the width of her legs.
Washing your EcopipoÂź Night Nappy:
Washing an Ecopipo Night Nappy is pretty simple, but it is very important to follow the washing instructions carefully or you could run the risk of damaging your nappy.
- Night Nappies will be very full in the morning and the ammonia in your babyâs pee can damage the natural fibres in your Night Nappy. So, to protect the natural fibres and to prolong the life of your nappy, we strongly recommend that you thoroughly rinse the nappy every morning, then you can gently wring out the nappy or you can place in a plastic colander for instance, where it can drip dry into your bath tub and then you can add it to the dry pile until washing day.
- We recommend washing the Ecopipo Night Nappy every 48 hours (never leave it longer than 72 hours)
- Wet nappies should be washed at 40ÂșC, but soiled nappies should be washed at 60ÂșC
- Due to the highly absorbent materials used to produce the Ecopipo Night Nappy, they can take a little longer to dry compared to our other nappies, especially in the UK winter.
- We recommend you allow two full days for drying, when calculating the number of nappies you will need). For instance, if you are washing 3 times a week, you will need 5 Night Nappies to have a nappy for every bedtime.
Remember the hook and loop and the poppers of EcopipoŸ One size reusable night nappy is covered in our 2-year guarantee.

Fitting and Sizing guide:
EcopipoÂź Reusable Pull-ups style Training Pants fit babies and toddlers from 19 lbs up to 40 lbs (9 to 18 kg)

How much pee do they hold?
These training pants can hold a full pee but the pad needs to be changed immediately
They have been designed to help you to avoid wet accidents if your toddler is still peeing in a nappy quite content this nappy should not be used a substitution of a more absorbent nappy system.
If your toddler takes a nap and you are worried that it might pee in the pants and outpee the pad, you can boost the absorbency with a bamboo booster.
Can they be used at night time?
If your child still fills his nappy every night, the training pants will not be an option for you.
However, if your child is nearly dry and this system will help him to feel a little bit wet and become more aware of his toilet needs.
For toddlers that are mostly dry at night you can even add two boosters to avoid any wet bed.
How many do I need?
To potty train your toddler during morning and night, we recommend 3 training pants and 3 extra pads and 2 or 3 bamboo boosters.
To potty train just during the night we recommend 2 training pants, 2 spare pads and 4 boosters.
